Yes QBCC Home Warranty Insurance Scheme is a compulsory insurance premium that must be paid for all construction work over the value of $3,300 (including GST) completed in Queensland. It is to offer consumer protection and ‘piece of mind’ to consumers engaging trade contractors for building and construction work in Queensland.
